The Boundaries of Space, 2013, video, performance, 5:54

The Boundaries of Space was created as a result of my interest in how we feel and convey touch. One person stands in front of a sheet of paper and another person  stands behind his/her back. The second person draws on the first person’s back, and he/she tries to project the drawing onto paper following his/her feeling. Then they switch roles. The work examines how a person experiences the boundaries of his/her own body. The irregularity of the back and the perception of touch and conveying it give an interesting image of the experience of oneself and of one’s abilities.
