Colission, 2017, video installation, loop

The Collision shows two masses of people in a race. On two large panels placed in the gallery space, there are video projections, in which on the one side people run towards people on the other side of the panel. There is small space between the panels. The observer has a feeling when people start running towards the other side there would be a collision. But they run “into the empty space” between the plates.
With this work, I question the path, will and goal of the group for a better life.
What are the exits that the group finds in order to survive? And do we all strive for the same?
What is the meaning of conflict in achieving the same goal for one group and not for another?
Does migrating to the other side lose the identity of a group and an individual?
